Auditions for the Musical “Peter Pan” will be held at the Whidbey Playhouse, 730 SE Midway Blvd. in Oak Harbor.
August 16 (1-4pm) for children age 6 to 15 and August 17 (7-9pm) for adults.
Children will need to learn the song "I gotta Crow" which will be available at the Whidbey Playhouse during regular business hours. They also need to memorize a one minute monologue. Parts for children include, The Lost Boys, Wendy, Michael, John, Liza, Mermaids and young Indians.
Adults will need 16 measures of an upbeat song of their choosing. We will have an accompanist. Please bring your own sheet music. Parts for adults include Pirates, Indians, Hook, Mr. and Mrs. Darling, the Crocodile, Nana, Tiger Lily and other animals.
The role of Peter Pan will be chosen by character, not age or gender. Peter must perform "I gotta crow" if under 15 and trying out for this part, please memorize a one minute monologue and show up on Saturday. If over 15, show up on Sunday and be ready to perform "I gotta crow" but no monologue is necessary.
