Do you know what time it is?It’s Play Day Time! The presentations are all ready to go, and we can’t wait for you to see them.Good thing we won’t have to wait long.
Play Day 2010 is coming in January, last year we had a Fantastic Finger Food Feast at 5pm for a price of $5 per person, the funds going to help offset the cost of scripts and perusals of plays. This is always a highlight of our year.
You could even earn one free meal ticket per family by contributing finger foods—either sweet or savory—for the meal.Just bring it along when you come. RSVP to office@whidbeyplayhouse.com for planning purposes, please.
At 6pm we’ll be moving upstairs for Twelve Terrific Presentations of Twelve Terrific Shows for your viewing enjoyment after which we ask you to vote for the ones you liked the best.Play Day is one of the most fun events of the Whidbey Playhouse year so don’t miss it.
Playday committee has been working on the list of shows to be presented. The event is a meal for a nominal charge with a chance to then see a small snippet of the shows that are being considered. A dessert intermission and then after more show presentations, a count of the votes submitted by the members present. The votes are passed to the Board of Directors who will make an informed decision for a balanced season that will work well on our stage. MARK YOUR CALENDARS FOR THIS FUN EVENT.
The Whidbey Playhouse is a volunteer-supported 501 c3 non-profit charitable organization, dedicated to providing quality theatrical experiences to people of all ages.
