YOUTH SUMMER THEATER WORKSHOP

Participants will learn ways to sizzle and shine on stage, study stagecraft and play many spirited theater games. The young thespians will learn new skills and improve the stage skills they already have. Everyone will learn how to develop a character, apply stage makeup, mime with a touch of magic, learn about auditioning, musical theater dance, stage presence, and do’s and don'ts in theater etiquette. The workshop will finish with a live performance prepared for family and friends. Workshop is limited to 20, so sign up early to reserve your spot. AGES: CHILDREN BETWEEN 6-10 years old
COST: $125 per student.

Performing opportunities: There will be a show at the end of camp.
Mission: To instill a confidence within the children that will help them to exceed in whatever they do in life. To teach them about teamwork and commitment to themselves and others.
Safety: Both have been trained in CPR, we have a first aid kit on site, and we’ll have a sign out form for child pick up to ensure that only people designated by the parent/guardian are picking up the child.
Experience: No prior experience necessary. If the child has previous experience they can use the camp as a refresher course to hone their skills.
Our core curriculum: Character development, warm up exercises for voice and body, stage makeup, body language , music, dance, stage presence, the importance of articulation and volume, improv, props, costumes, and auditions.
Please eat before arrival. Water will be provided. Food is not provided.
Some scholarships are available.
